Reminds me of the old "Lemonade Stand" I played on the commodore 64 although much more more complex. instead of a lemonade stand, you build a theater and add more features and theater screens as you gain wealth. It's a good game for kids (and adults) to gain thinking and reasoning skills while being very enjoyable at the same time. It was the free game of the day the day realarcade switched to gamehouse and I did end up buying the ad free version after playing it through the first time (actually I used my free game credit) It's a TIK game and any game by TIK or Spintop I have (so far) found to be great playing and quality games. It's very thinky although it is a little clicky too. I wish they would have those rated separately.

Played this one last night and it's not as easy as it looks. Was fun to play but obviously I need to get a better strategy going as I didn't do as well as I expected (some days I did really well, other days not so much). You play a theater manager, who is responsible for providing various upgrades to the theater in general and the equipment it uses, choosing what films to run, what's for sale & in stock at the snack bar, advertising, all sorts of things, what special offers for admission, prices, etc.. Unique gameplay. You also get to hire staff to help you along. When the demo hour ran out, I hadn't realized a whole hour went by and was eager to try my next flick that I had high hopes for. Altogether, an engaging game if you are looking for something different. Ended up purchasing and I WILL beat this game if it's the last thing I do! LOL
