I love all the Build-A-Lot games, and jump at the chance to play a new one when it comes on the market. Definately worth checking out!

I personally think all these Build-A-Lot games are boring. I think the Aquapolis one was more fun than this series, although the "Building" concept in general is kind of uninteresting. Build-A-Lot 4 is basically the exact same as all it's predecessors. This game fails to capture my interest. However, maybe for some of you who enjoy games that are repetitive, useless, and boring, this is for you. I guess the one cool thing about is that it's goal-oriented. I like games that are goal-oriented, but I prefer that the goals be more fun.

I've had no problems with this game, but it is challenging to get it done in the time period allotted.

They did a great job on this one. It has new challenges but also keeps the same format as the original 3 so you don't have to relearn the entire game. It also has two additional modes for more play time! Love it!

i have played all the other build a lots and find this one at bit more tricky! When you think you have it down pat and things going nicely the power goes out! Good game over all! Recommended

What happened to Build-a-Lot 4? Somehow the fun went out of it. I did finish it - but it was more tedious and I just wanted to get it over. The previous versions were great fun as well as interesting and challenging, and I was wishing there were more levels! I was glad to finish number 4.

I've tried most of the previous Build-A-Lot games but this one is the best. It will make you think and keep you on your toes. I'm 67 years old so if I can do it you can too. Can't you ? It's a lot of fun trying.

This is the type of game I can play for hours and never lose interest. You have to plan ahead and move wisely to meet your goals before time runs out. I highly recommend it.

The power source aspect to an otherwise good game made it a bit too involved. These build a lot games are wonderful, but tedious when too challenging. Just takes the fun out of it. Bring on more - love them! But keep them user friendly.

Fans of Build-a-lot, rejoice! The latest in the series has a beautiful addition of having to plan for power usage, forcing the player to think twice before putting up that next stretch of apartment buildings or building a fancy new movie theatre. Thankfully, houses can be made energy friendly with an array of improvements from solar panels to tankless water heaters. The lunatic hosts are back too, with their last minute corrections and "oh by the way" additions that will make even a veteran builder tear his hair out. Be ready to play through several levels twice if you have your eye on the awards cabinet. Oh, did I mention that? I guess I did. This game isn't for everyone. You're going to have to think through your property layouts, be ready to sell or destroy your creations at a moment's notice, and time your construction carefully to succeed. But for devotees of this house-flipping series, this will make an excellent addition to your gaming library.

I do like this game but it's not my favorite of the series.

I enjoy this game... I already played number 2 and loved it... This game is harder and alot of fun trying to keep your houses and stores with power.

very good, definitely makes you think, need to plan carefully, expect to replay levels to get goals.

If you've built a lot before then there's really not a whole lot new here, aside from choosing green energy sources.

I love the Build-A-Lot series and have them all. But for some reason this one just didn't 'Click' for me. I've played to the end at least 3 times, thinking I was missing something, but never did find it. I'll continue with Passport to Europe, Town of the Year, Elizabethan and the others and be happy, because they are Great!!

I loved the other chapters in the Build-a-Lot series, but this one drove me nuts with the power plants, and worrying about "gosh, do I have enough power to build?" I can get that frustrated in real life -- I play games to have fun.
