As far as the gameplay, It's basically the same old Breakout game with powerups. Sometimes it can be a bit tedious to get the last brick when it's protected, but other than that, nothing much to do but go back and forth with the mouse. Graphics are good, though. It's not an eyesore to look at. The audio is fine, also. Nothing to complain about in this area. All in all, just because something looks good or sounds good, if it doesn't play well, then it's not going to receive good reviews. It's not horrible, but it's definitely not on the top of anything, except maybe a shelf. Kept and forgotten.

Not at all original. Remake of the old breakout game with graphics. I stopped playing after five minutes and won't purchase.

I'm a fan of the "bricks of...." series, they are usually a lot of fun and I like to keep them on my comp to try and beat my scores. Unfortunately, for me, this one isn’t the best. With the others in the series you have bonus helpers you can release that can give you money/points or help destroy things. In this one you don’t have any help apart from the normal power ups (shooting bat, enlarge bat, fire bombs etc). So you are on your own, which is fine but there are so many obstacles that it becomes really tedious trying to get that one square that is protected by barriers. This is my opinion though, so try the hour trial and see what you think. If you agree with me, please don’t let it put you off the others in the series ~ you should definitely try Bricks of Atlantis (my favourite)
