This really is the maddest game and I really worry about the sanity of the person that dreamed this all up! But my lord it is fun! You basically section off areas of a net to catch bugs and claim your bananas ~ you get bonus items to help you with this when you play slots. And some of them are really cute, like a monkey that swings through grabbing bugs. The levels get more challenging with bigger nets and more bugs ~ if the bugs get your rope then you lose a life and some of the bugs are quick little blighters. I know, you are thinking “what the hec???” and really I was too when I first started playing, but after only 3 nets i was hooked and laughing. You use your bananas to buy buildings and play slots to win bonus items.....seriously fun and addictive ~ kids will love this too (as the characters are cute and the colours are fun and vivid). Download you free hour and see what you think

I have been playing this game for over 200 levels now, and haven't gotten bored! It is a very cute game, the bugs are adorable (especially when they dance to the disco ball), and it is a simple concept, but one that will keep you coming back for more, because it is so well executed. Some of the levels seem impossible, but since you can just start back where you left off (you start with 5 lives, but when those run out, you don't lose your progress), it is so easy to keep trying, and so much fun upgrading the monkey village!

Even my hardcore gaming teenage sons like this game! The characters are delightful - especially when they stop to dance to the disco ball - It's relaxing because you are not playing against a time clock when hunting those buggy bugs - I like that you do not lose your points when you "bug out" and can choose to go back to the same screen to continue your bug conquest - A word to wise, watch those bugs on the side, if you don't take them all out first, you will not achieve your 20 bananas - Also, when sectioning off your areas, watch the fill meter - try to demolish all the bugs before your fill meter reaches 85% so that you then have the chance for a 100% fill and maximum points and the extra bananas - You will have Fun! Fun! Fun!

This is like Water Bugs and Cosmic Bugs where you have to screen off about 85% of the playing field without getting zapped by the bugs. However, Banana Bugs has a cute monkey character and some powerups that the other games don't have. The monkey also has some sidekicks that factor into the powerups, although the monkey friends tend to just sit off to the side and their powers work independently. I especially like the flyswatter. It has a little town that you can build (pretty good graphics, too, and not bad sound), which is really just a locale for the powerups, but the gameplay is all on the screen where you repeat the movements of trying to get 85% plus coverage before bugs get you six times. And if the bugs win, no problem. You can restart the game at the same level where you got zapped. This is a fun play for short periods of time for adults and would be a blast for kids to play if you have little ones around.

I'm a match 3, solitaire kinda player, but I really liked this game! For me it was very different because I had not played one like it before, but it's very enjoyable!

From the makers of classics like Bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies comes another humorous take on a popular game format. The various bugs flying around have unique personalities and the monkey freaks out when one of them gets near him. I normally mute games to play, but I loved the sound effects in this one.

I have finished the game and it is a great value with about 256 levels. Absolutely worth a game credit, which is why reviews are helpful. This is a kid-friendly and family-friendly game, wonderful graphics, another great PopCap Game. If you are still hesitating about using one of your credits, download and try Comic Bugs and Water Bugs for free, which I also owned and played. You will see how PopCap has vastly improved the game concept with Banana Bugs (B.B.). There are several strategies you can use when playing B.B. such as saving up bananas. Do try the Casino early on, there are power-ups which are only available through the Casino (I don't usually use casinos in games as I feel they are a waste, but not B.B.! ) Five stars because you can relax and play without a big time commitment from you. Listen to music or the radio in the background while playing. Start and stop as you wish; keep going even when you're out of lives so you can absolutely complete the game!

This game can be both addicting, satisfying, and aggrevating all at the same time. I love the game - it does take strategy to corral those bugs without getting zapped. I particularly love the fly swatter and bug zapper tools - those were fun -- pay back! Very good replay value. Recommend it highly.

This game is fun and addicting. I like playing to relax and yet I can't quit playing. It's always "just one more round."

This game is okay. It's neat how they added a story line to it. The graphics are nice and it's very simple to play. But I prefer the other two, Water Bugs and Cosmic Bugs better. But That's just me.

Much like Cosmic Bugs and Water Bugs, I find myself playing this over and over. Great fun, frustrating, but I always come back for more. Quickly became one of my favorites.

Surprised by the positive reviews. I could not get into the game at all. There is a mathematical element that some people enjoy, but I thought the game was very repetitive and uninteresting.

This is one of the best games. Hard to stop playing.

This game is exactly the same as this game I used to play . I can't remember what it's call, but you have these flying balls and you have to try and trap them by drawing lines across the boxes. It was fun but I can't seem to get into this game even though it's the same concepts. The graphic and music is great, though I found it to be dull and repetitive.

When I first saw this game I was not even going to download it. I played it about 5 minutes and was hooked. It is really fun trying to get points without the bugs getting you. It is not a game I am going to purchase but I did have a lot of fun playing the demo
