I usually play a game to the bitter end before I review it, but this one is one of those exceptions. It is slow, seemingly pointless, and hard to figure exactly what the program is looking for you to do. It is plain loser of a game,

When I tried this game for the first time, I was confused. I tried it again and payed more attention to the instructions. They actually exist. There is a definite strategy. Use must build on what has come previously in the game. There are actual solutions to the problems in resources and lightning. When tobacco becomes a crop, you can use it for trade on a one-to-one basis. Lightning rods become available later in the game. I have not completed the game, but people resources are the most important. If you do not have enough people to man the buildings as they are updated, you cannot take advantage of the updates.

I agree with many of the other reviewers - there is definitely a lot of clicking to do and you have to figure out how to get things done on your own. For instance, I got stuck on one level for a long time trying to figure out how to "occupy every building" - through pure luck, I discovered that meant that every available SPACE had to be occupied with something on it and then people in it. Later in the levels, there was some strategy to make sure you got the resources you needed and in the right order. I finished the game (finally) but most likely will not replay again as often times a single level would take anywhere from 15-30 minutes to complete and there was a lot of mindless repitition.

As a fan of the original Aztec Tribe, I was all too eager to try this one when it came out. To my horror, it is way too repetitive for my liking. You always start doing the same things at the beginning in order to get to the stage where you can begin to meet the goals. Yawn. The developers need to learn from the teams giving us Jack of All Tribes and Royal Envoy.

A little boring. Not the same fun as FarmScape. In my opinion it´s important that the game include Time Management and some type of puzzle. This game is confusing at times, but maybe it´s me ;-)

I quit this game in disgust before even getting all the way through untimed Casual mode, because it's so extremely clicky and frustrating. If there's any thinking or strategy involved at all, i didn't have time to notice it because of the relentless barrage of disasters that undid all my progress before i'd even made any. Animals and bandits constantly steal your food; your buildings constantly break down, burst into flames, or get struck by lightning. And you can't make repairs, because the building that generates the materials you need -- assuming you've even been permitted to build one in the first place -- has almost certainly been reduced to a pile of rubble. Every second of this game is frenetic damage control. It's Frantic, Frustrating, and no Fun. ZERO STARS.

Great idea--poor execution. I agree with the previous reviewer. Everything is constantly in need of repair. If there is a way to prevent this, I am unable to access it either in Casual or Expert mode. You expect a certain number of roadblocks to progress with games of this type, but this is ridiculous. I generally enjoy all the resource management type games, but even this die-hard fan is giving up. Developer should come up with a re-build on this game that makes it possible to finish the levels without spending endless boring hours repairing everything.

I only made it to Level 2 before giving up, which is surprising given that I'm a TM-a-holic, but it really was that bad. There were almost no instructions, and the ones there were, were vague and incomplete. The little people you send to do things move AGONISINGLY slowly, and by the most circuitous route, which is incredibly frustrating. But really, whose idea was it to have wild turkeys running round which you have to repeatedly club over the head with a wooden stick?? Tasteless and definately unsuitable for kids, vegetarians, and anyone who doesn't enjoy violence towards animals as entertainment. I guess that must include me :o(

This game is interesting. I didn't end up finishing the game due to the excessive clicking, but it wasn't a total waste of time. It kept my interest, but, I wouldn't say its addictive. All-in-all its a good time killer.

I enjoyed this game. You build buildings that produce resources. Town buildings to house all your workers, and then out buildings to produce resources. You could usually gether free food by wacking these birds that walked around. It was humorous when you wacked them. This game definitely has more innovation and differes from the boring main stream. I'm surprized this game's not getting higher marks from most people.

I give this game a very generous one star. You spend all of your time clicking and very little with strategy. It's one of the worst time management games I have ever played. Even in casual mode with no timer, it is nearly impossible to focus on a task because you are constantly clicking around the entire area. If you are able to build (when they let you), the distraction of the constant birds you have to click for resources is maddening. I definitely do not recommend this for anyone.

i LOVE TMG's-they're my favorite. i must say i was frustrated at 1st with this game. there were very little instructions. i had to figure out what to do by trial and error. i was able to do that, and did enjoy playing. it's colorful-the blue turkeys-how cute. the apples/wood/fish bobbing about. i love the cheif dancing around. i think this a great game for kids-if they have someone to teach them what to do-b/c they won't have to rush to get things done-they'll be able to concentrate on the ins and outs of TMG's. CUTE!!!!
