The graphics were minute, the colouring monochromatic and the writing very difficult to read. The storyline was boring; although if you strictly enjoy hidden object games you may like this one.

What a strange game.... It has the 'usual' theme of granddaughter trying to find her grandfather, but entails finding items that belong to spirits haunting a book So far, so ho-hum.
The odd thing about this game is that the items are teeny weeny and you really do have to look hard for them. The pointer is very slow, and even though it does tell you to "speed it up" if you want to, it judders and takes an age to catch up to where you want to be - it's a good thing there aren't any speed clicks or you'd lose every time!
The characters are a mish-mash of artists, scholars, the betrayed and a nasty piece of work who's still rude to everyone even after he's dead!
I wouldn't recommend this game but I did enjoy it all the same. I'm a bit cross-eyed now, so I would recommend strong glasses! 0/o
I'd have given this game 4 stars except for one thing. Some of the HO objects are too small to see, even with the magnifier option. The story is interesting and the scenes are beautifully drawn. The ending was bit abrupt with no real resolution to the story, except you now can search all the scenes again, presumably to resolve the story.

This game is not my style. The graphics, while very nice, are in scenes instead of tableau making some of the objects hard to find. Story line is ok if you like to read. Nice explanations at the beginning for music, voice and mouse compatibility. Too much talk and not enough action.
