I have played an Amelie game previously. So I was aware of how important the running helpers (money, cleanup, happy customers, puzzle) at the bottom of the screen layout are to the success of each round. Pick the wrong ones at the wrong time and forget about getting expert. I didn't see much difference in this game except for the holiday costumes/figures. Not being able to pick your own upgrade (restaurant versus worker) is frustrating. Not only that, the game ramps up entirely too quickly. It is basically a winter rerun. If you like Amelie games, this one should fit you just fine.

The cooks make one thing at a time... slowly. You have more and more customers coming in who all order more than once apiece and when you think you might actually get caught up the cook has an issue and you have to go fix it before any more food is made. No thanks! I'll stick with the Delicious series of games and uninstall this one. Had to give it one star to rate, even though giving zero would have been more than it deserved!

you have to be quick thinking and remember how the customers popup but i like it. I really want to play it on my Windows 8 computer so I'm waiting please. Thank you.

Liked the colorful graphics and holiday theme but couldn't get the characters to do much except move around sporadically. Despite clicking away like crazy, Amelia just lurched around going mainly where I didn't want her to go. All the other characters were impatient - even my coworkers! I quit after the game itself kept telling me that I wasn't moving fast enough. Irritating. Maybe you'll have better luck.

i find this Amelie game to be as challenging as the others. this game can get overwhelming. it gets confusing with making & delivering the orders. having people at the counter and at tables is frustrating at times. i was able to get expert on almost every level i played, but it was definately a workout. this game is enjoyable for a little while, and then-for me-becomes too fast. the upgrades just aren't that helpful. the upgrade to speed the workers up takes forever to obtain, and then it doesn't really speed them up that much. and i HATE trying to keep the stations clean. the extras that come up at the bottom of the screen are somewhat helpful, but that, too, becomes chaotic-you have to stop making food/delivering food, to figure out which items you want to delete so you can get identical items of 3 or more beside each other-just too much to think about all at once.

This is the same as Amelie's Cafe and Amelie's Halloween Cafe, but this one is clunkier than the others. The bonus buttons at the bottom of the screen don't respond well to the mouse click. In addition to that, the whole game is average at best. You keep workers working, and Amelie runs around and takes and delivers orders. The upgrades are boring (aesthetics of the building, increasing speed and neatness of workers), a worker added here and there. Amelie has some Christmas experiences outside the Cafe with reasonably nice graphics, but in my opinion it's not worth playing the game to get to them, mostly because of fighting with poor interface. I haven't been impressed with other Amelie games, but I downloaded this one anyway because I'm eager to get into the Chrismas spirit, but I'm not going to deal with the clunkiness of it all. Sorry, Amelie.
