The game itself was great--the objects were well hidden, the minigames were just difficult enough, and the storyline and graphics were enjoyable. However, I must say I was disappointed that it was so short--I would have loved for it to go on a bit longer.

I enjoyed the game but I was disappointed in how short it was.

Very good plot, I enjoy it as much as playing the game, though you can skip the convesation. It's a mix of basic hidden objects + find the differences + put things back where they used to be, tasks of collecting some objects and combine to use, and minigames which are quite fun. If things get too difficult hints are very useful. Someone obviously took a lot of time and love making this game. Seemless storyline and beautiful graphics. But I give it only 4 stars because it is a bit short ... but maybe because it's so good! I can't wait to play the series.

I thought I was really going to enjoy this game, since the premise was awesome and the puzzles were pretty good, although I did need to use hints a lot more in the mini-games where you pick the items that are different in two windows, because some of them were really hard to see. However, it only took me 1 1/2 hours to finish the entire game, which was totally ridiculous. I definitely don't recommend purchasing this game, it's much too expensive, even at the lowest game ticket price!

My nine-year-old granddaughter chose this game and she likes it very much. She says it is challenging but fun to play. I have played it and it is fun to play. It is good for an adult or a child.

I really really liked this game. However, it was way too short. If I had purchased this game as a standalone product I would be angry. Since I have FunPass I am just disappointed. In some respects my thoughts on the matter, while negative, are in fact a compliment. I wanted more! I installed "Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate" some time ago but abandoned it because I got stuck. I am going to start over and give it another go.

Enjoyed the game and finding objects while going back and forth in time. You need to really search while learning some history. I didn't like the fact that you couldn't save your place. Each time you play you have to start from the begining.

It was an OK game for about an hour. Started out pretty good but found as I went along pretty much have to use hints to make it through this unless you play a lot of these type of games. The puzzles is what made it really go down hill for me. I couldn't even make it an hour through this. I'm sure it's a great game but just not for me. I'm in the minority here. I just couldn't get into this game. I give it three stars overall.

A great game which uses your brain. Great story too. I love these type of HO games as it's not just a case of finding objects but working out what to do with them. I think "expert mode" would be impossible to do, as you would have to click everything to work out what it is you need, even if objects have a very helpful tag to tell you what they are when you scroll over them. Casual mode is not a cop out, it just helps to have a list of some of the objects you need - the rest you have to work out yourself. Mini puzzles include slide puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, spot the difference, memory games and recreate the scene, so plenty to keep your interest. Looking forward to playing Alabama's sequel.

Wow, you really have to look hard for some of these objects!

This game has some great puzzles. Most puzzles are quite easy, but a couple are really hard. The good part is there is no limit for trying to solve them. Some of the search puzzles (where you need to do-this to get-that, kinda thing) are illogical and I needed to use a couple hints to figure out what I was supposed to do. A couple of the puzzles require good/quick mouse movement, so those that have problems with their wrist or hands may have to pass on those. (You can pass on the mini puzzles in the relaxed mode) You can play in a timed or relaxed mode. The relaxed mode will give you more hints. You can also switch between timed and relaxed at any time. The game is relatively short - an regular player of Hidden Object games can finish this in 3-4 hours. Overall this is a nice game with good graphics and fun puzzles.

This was a different experience from all the other hidden objects games because it is so much more involved than the others. There are several different types of puzzles and many are fairly challenging. Unfortunately, the game is over before you blink! It is not worth paying money for. If it had lasted double the amount time it took then it would be well worth it.

A fun point and click adventure, but too short ... and a bit frustrating with lack of instructions! At least, two play choices - casual or expert - casual gave more hints and ability to skip puzzles. The 'task list' may tell you what to do next, but can make no sense - this can be very frustrating, without enough instructions to complete tasks. Also, you do a lot of unnecessary clicking trying to figure it out - hints recharge and can be helpful. Towards the end, traveling back/forth in time, collect an item, jump forward to use it, jump back to use another item got frustrating, too. The only plus was using a hint would light the amulet, so you knew that you needed to travel. Overall, the 3-stars rating was for the ability to make you think hard, to complete the sequence of required events. The sequel is now available - and hopefully, is improved with better instructions and a longer game-play.

Played this for a little while and got pretty far. Turned it off and came back to find that it doesn't save your game. I wasn't about to start over so based on the part that I played, it was pretty challenging with some good puzzles. The storyline was great. Probably worth another try but I'm so annoyed right now, that I'm not going to play it again right now! :)
