I love this game like I did the first game. It looks like it could be a kiddie game, but it is not. It takes some thinking to get those planes landing without them getting mad and having to paint them appropriately so you can rack up points. The later levels you have to have the paint upgrade and the plane wash or else you will not pass the level. For some reason I think the first game was a little harder Or it is easier in this game to get a lot of points because you have a better upgrades. Such as the plane wash, and a extra radar for long long distances. And you can change the colors of the planes. I had to look under troubleshooting to find that. There are little things like a baggage car that pops up every once in a while that if you click you make a pretty penny. Also there are balloons to pop that help you make money. Before there was just a helicopter. It is great game. And don't be fooled by the kiddie planes with faces. It is not a kiddie game, even though I am sure some kids would love it. Oh and the planes are still singing Tom's Diner, Suzanne Vega must be getting royalties.

I first saw this game on my grandkids' I-Pad. Their grandfather spent an entire evening playing it, and that is something he never does! So when I saw Gamehouse had it for the pc, I had to get it. The graphics are nice and clean, the music and sound effects are not annoying, even if they are a bit cutesy at times. The game starts off at a slow pace, letting you warm up and learn to manipulate things. As the levels advance, your time becomes more busy and you have a lot more to do. The "bonus" items, like the balloon and helicopter that drop coins are a nice touch, but you have to click on them once to drop the coin and a second time to collect it, so for me, they are in the way, and waste my limited time. And some don't do anything but go back and forth across the screen. The clock still counts down while you're chasing them. This game is great for kids and adults, has a great replay value, as things are never going to happen exactly the same way in any given game. If you don't like your final score when you complete a level, you can play it over any time you choose.

This was a lot of fun. I had a good time trying to get supreme score which was easier in the middle of stages. However, I have got tired of it after stage 4 and I'm taking it off my computer.

I got this game for my grand daughter when she was here last week, and I watched her play and play it. (I couldn't wait til she asked me grammy do you want to try it). She said it is much better than the first one that was out. Thanks

The developers managed to keep the charm of Mania 1 plus add new tasks and incporated mini games. If you like Airport Mania 1 or GabCab this is a good game for you. the game is relaxing and charming. Characters are whimiscal with appealing sounds. New tasks were added with lugage loader, power wash, being able to upgrade the work shop. As I like to replay TM games to see if I can beat my prior score, I wish developers had added a scoring compenent that showed the top score for each level as well as our score now.

some of the reasons i find this game more fun than the 1st one r, b/c of the stuff happening in the background-seeing a rabbit hopping in the desert, only to be scooped up by a bird of prey/the big ole ugly purple octopus in the ocean that u have to beat/the planes lanidng in the h2o. so while the actions/upgrades r the same as in the 1st airport game, this game is definately worth buying.

Wow! I had forgotten about this game as I played the first Airport Mania game when that first came out. This one I found to be pretty much the same but just in case you haven't played it: The goal of the game is to get the planes to land, unload, sometimes have to fuel them up, or repair them. The planes are also colored and it's best to get as many planes as you can of one color to the same lane for landing/take off and also the same gate for loading/unloading the planes. There's also nice power ups such as improving the gates, adding more gates. You can also add more lay over lanes as it's best to put them there than to have them sitting on the lane. That will also keep planes from landing if you have them sitting on the lane. Some levels you can even paint the planes to make combos for more points. Does take a bit for that to charge up and be available for use. Just many upgrades you can do as you move along. You can also sell them back at the end of each level if you're finding you don't really need them and would like to upgrade to something you really need. It also made me laugh out loud hearing the planes go "woo hoo" and "yippy." Oh and watch the ghost at the bottom of the screen on some levels as you have to click on him so he doesn't steal the bag. I thought that was really cute. It looks like a "kids" game which it's definitely "kid friendly" but I think some adults would enjoy this as well. I know I sure did. Give it a whirl and see what you think. Thanks Gamehouse. Five star game all the way in my book!

It's tricky, but it's fun. The potential for this game to be stressful is all there--fast paced airports with some fairly high strung planes. But it's the planes themselves that keep this game in the fun zone. The minute they start humming as they unload and load passengers, you gotta love them. Each plane has a different hum or little tune, and with those big eyes, they really are cute. Yes, they get cranky, and they can "humph" at being kept waiting. They can even get really cross and take off (costing big points). But it still doesn't get to you because they are, as mentioned before, just so darn cute. Lots of great upgrades with each airport, but even with the upgrades, it's not all smooth sailing (or flying). Probably the most annoying thing is when a runway becomes unusable for a time (for one of three reasons). Even with the upgrade to fix the problem, it still takes a short time to get it back into shape--time that is at a premium when the planes are banking up waiting to land, or getting snarky on the tarmac. There are also lots of little things happening in the background of each level. Some are just fun; others provide extra points--although, I have to admit, I wasn't too good at working out what most of them were. Lots of fun, and definitely worth playing.

I had the original version. When I purchased the "Premium" edition, I expected something that was improved, with more fun included. What I got was the identical game with one more level. It wasn't worth the price. If you already have the standard edition of Airport Mania 2, then you're not gaining much by purchasing the Platinum Edition.

Time management games keep you on your toes. You want to get the highest score for each level. While waiting and loading pessengers the planes hum catching tunes. You can ways for the planes to cross each others and matching the colors for more points. Great Game!

Another home run!! Love it!! Stayed close to the original with some added fun. Graphics and sound effects wonderful. It it clicky but also thinky. You have to think about how to queue the planes and which upgrades to buy for best effect. Great job!!

This is my favorite time management game. The planes and airports are creative and they added additional challenges to the backgrounds. Too many hours of fun!

Great graphics, fun tunes, have to think a bit to plan landing, takeoff, etc. Have only played the online version (quite a few times, over and over...), and find it very addictive. Perhaps I might buy this one!

Great game. I like the new destinations and the graphics. It is very difficult at times to tell the plain blue planes from the turquoise ones while they are in the holding spaces. I would send the wrong planes to the wrong gates at times. All in all.......fabulous.

This is as good as the original, which I also loved. It is fast paced as you get into the higher levels, but still fun. Absolutely love this game.

Loved it! Typical time management game, but very cute and lots of trophies to win. One for the whole family.

Extra stuff added and has sea planes. Haven't finished it yet (just found it / bought it today) A definite winner for airplane lovers or those who like time management games. Kid friendly although it would be a bit too challenging for younger kids.
