Great graphics, great music and an interesting story line. Good mix of puzzles and hidden object. Puzzles aren't too hard but you do need to think a little.

I wasn't sure about this game when I got it! But am certainly glad I did. It is a great way to pass the time, is not super easy and not too difficult. I would not recommend for small children, but good for ages 10 and up I would think. My grandkids love it.

I really enjoyed this game and liked all the extra mini-games. Too bad you save Robinson Crusoe so quickly.

I loved the artwork and the story line. The beautiful graphics kept me interested and wanting to play more. This was definitely a challening game! I had a difficult time finding many of the hidden objects because they were disguised so well. I enjoyed having to figure out how to find the blue objects. The puzzles were also difficult which made the game that much more fun. The only reason I gave the game four stars instead of five is because I beat the game in 3 hours. I was a little disappointed that such a great game ended so quickly.

i really like the story of Robinson Crusoe, so was looking forward to this game. the premise is like the book-he has been shipwrecked on an uninhabited island, and must find things to help him survive and to build another ship. i liked the music. i liked that u had to interact w/ some items to find exactly what u needed. however, i found it very difficult to distinguish items. they were too small. just not detailed enuf. i played the easy mode so i had a lot of hints, thank goodness. i used them too. just an ok HOG.

very good art work. I thought it very predictable as far as a HOG goes. I should have left it in the daily free game. It was to short to waist a purchase on.

More like a HOP than a HOPA. The only real adventure seems to be in the title. There are several locations to explore. In each you go from place to place finding hidden objects, solving puzzles, and using inventory items to accomplish tasks. Play timed or untimed. There are fewer hints in timed mode; fiinish all the task in the alloted time or play the chapter again. Artwork is colorful if a bit fuzzy, music is repetitive, some items are quite small. I will give the game a lot of credit for diversity in game play. H0G scenes require all manner of different types of tasks. The puzzles are also varied; they are different from the norm or at least had a different twist on them. There is some guffaw humor, and the whole game is basically lighthearted. A nice change of pace. It is a fun way to fill up some time and add a smile to your day. Check out the sequel, Robinson Crusoe and the Cursed Pirates. The game play and presentation are similar but it improves on this one.

Liked the Mortimer Beckett series and wanted something similar - this isn't it. This was really too easy and went too quickly. Finished the game in 2 hours. Want my $9.99 to last longer!

Great fun game. A certain amount of quirkiness and some mind exercising puzzles to complete. Will definitely play again very soon.

There was a mix of puzzles, but mostly finding hidden objects. The graphics were great. Overall I enjoyed the game very much but not as good as the Dream Chronicle series.

Really nice game. This is for the most part a straight HOG with a few interactive effects per scene. You are Robinson Crusoe, stranded on an island and working to build a ship so you can get off the island. With each scene you clear, you build a little more of the ship. Hints are generous and there was no obvious click penalty. The items you find are in theme with the game. Most scenes start by having you find x amount of a certain item, followed by a list of hidden objects to find - there are usually a few in the list that have an interactive element to them. The game is not too difficult, nor too easy, but the items you interact with are clearly indicated on the list in a different color, the main item you interact with on the scene is sparkly and when you hover over the additional items you need to interact with, the names of them are shown so there is a lot of hand holding in that aspect. Still, it's a well done story and I found it enjoyable to play.

Fun hidden object along with some puzzles which aren't very easy to solve but can be with perseverance.

I love HOG and this fits in the list. It got only 4 stars because it ended to quickly. It is a good value. The hint button came in handy a few times. (Could be my eyes.) I wouldn't recommend it for smaller children but for tweens and up it shouldn't be a problem.

I enjoyed the story and the mini games. What makes this game different from some of the others it included some arcade action. I liked that you could take the paths you wanted. To bad this game didn't go on little further. (find the things that don't belong in each scene and get another hint was nice) Good value for content.

This game looked good, but unfortunately it is nothing like the book.

A game with a very nice presentation, solid story (based on the novel - so that's no surprise), good hidden object play and very good mini-games. The game play itself is broken into six chapters, which in turn contain six parts. I found myself wanting to play "just one more chapter" again and again. Unfortunately, that was also one of the problems. The game was quite short - just a few hours of play time. Still, it was an enjoyable ride while it lasted.

This is worth $2 not $10. All transitions are very easy. Building the 'boat' to escape is automatics so no fun. Play the free 60 minutes. You'll get the real gist. If you want to speed thru the demo, use hints when you get stuck.

Lovely story and graphics. Give yourself a challenge by ensuring you find a word or inscription in every level. It only give you an additional hint for that chapter but it keeps you on your toes looking for it. Some of the objects can be a challenge but that adds to the fun - you don't want it to be too easy. The mini games ensure you don't get bored at any time. Seemed to end quicker than a lot of HO games I've played.
