Although on the short side with a story line that was strange, this game was fun to play. Graphics were good, hints recharged quickly. Starts off easy to navigate but eventually you need to use the map to find your next task. Mini games were unique, some easy, some difficult. I had a good time playing this. Enjoy!

I enjoyed this game and did replay it to get all the trophies. The story was different and I've never played underwater before. I enjoyed the puzzles and there wasn't too much back and forth. I hardly ever used the map but the hint button was great for pointing you in the right direction. It was a nice game and story with good puzzles. However, the eyes of the characters were too freaky.

I finished quicker than I had hoped since I had to pay for it. However, the graphics were pretty good. The game itself was not extremely difficult and the mini-games were good. I did have to skip some but that may be because I lack patience for some of them. I very much recommend this game and believe any one who routinely plays HOG's will find it a great game.

I really enjoyed this game. Liked the graphics, the story and how the game worked. Opposed to other games of the same type, this was a bit longer than usual. But it actually got annoying, when it seemed like at was going to end really soon, at least 5 times... And it was too easy, even with the settings on expert.

The HO in this game is somewhat easy. Although you have to back and forth through some rooms, the map helps you locate where you are and where you need to be. The hint button recharges quickly and will also show you where you need to be. I love the story line and although I normally skip the dialogue, I read every one this time because it also tells you where to go. The game is just long enough to enjoy it; not too short and not too long. It took me about 2 days to finish it. Not kid-friendly, though. There's blood and some scary graphics.

Nice mix of hidden object games and adventure. I didn't have to skip any of the mini games, but it is nice to have the option for those that do not like them. The map comes in handy.

Great story and graphics! Took me a while to get through even though I've played HOs like this before. Some of it was intuitive, but I don't know what I would have done without the guide either.

enjoyed playing this game. i played the casual version. the hint button was a big help, and i love having the guide so accessable. the mini games went from easy to challenging-had to use the skip button a few times, but that's ok. love the graphics, and music. the story is exciting and creepy. love the way it ends...wonder what's next...

Really enjoyed this game!! Good story and graphics. I did use the hint button for where to go next, I tend to forget what was where. Nice length. Would have given 5 stars if it had an interactive map.

I would give this game more stars if I could for it's originality. Kudos to Artifex Mundi for two wonderful games in a row! The Carnival is also a +5 star game. Hope to see more from this publisher.

I have tired of HOG lately but thought I would give this one try and I really enjoyed it. Sorry it ended, hope there is a sequel.

I enjoyed this game from start to finish. Once again an adventure game with HO's and mini games thrown in. This to me is the best style where you have you think about what to do with what you are given in lieu of just finding hidden objects and playing puzzle games. This game is a satisfying blend without overloading you on any one style. The easily accessible guide is great if you get stuck and the hint system is good as well. Liked this one quite well.

This game is mostly adventure with hidden object scenes and puzzles thrown in. The subject matter is dark, and certainly not recommended for children or, in my opinion, kids under 15. But for a change, although the subject matter is dark, the scenes are anything but. The scenes are well and richly drawn with lovely colors and excellent graphics. For the most part the HO scenes are not terribly difficult, although I played in casual mode and it appears from the strategy guide that the expert mode does have an increased level of difficulty. The puzzles were mostly fairly easy with no reason to skip, although you can. I don't see the need for an alternate domino mode instead of finding the hidden objects, but I'm sure they are enjoyable for some people. I prefer to find the hidden objects. The voice overs were fairly good, and the music was in line with the story. The story itself was compelling and kept you moving forward. The map was handy if you weren't sure what you needed to do next or where to do it, and the strategy guide was available if you wanted or needed it. I always find a strategy guide a plus, but this one was pretty bare bones. It gave you what you needed in a matter-of-fact way but did not enhance the play or the story line. In the casual mode the hint button recharged very quickly and came in very handy now and again. The story line was completed within the game play. I kept expecting something jolting to happen at the end. What did happen, though, I thought was pretty cheesy and unworthy of the game. The extra game play was something of a pre-story. I thought the HO scenes were simpler than in the main story, but it was still enjoyable. The game is a good length, being in about the 5-6 hour range.

This game had good scenes and lots of action but had some flaws. There was a lot of moving around, up from sewers, to dorm rooms, on and off the elevator, hotel lobbies, etc. and no map. I needed the hint button often to find my way because its like a maze. The characters close-up were freaky and not life-like at all. The Robert character was especially dead looking, and his mouth was all wrong. Not a big thing as far as gameplay goes but still disconcerting. You can tell a lot of work went into making this game and I applaud them for that, but just not my favorite.

Original story, great art and music. The voice acting on the men was not that great though. Also, I've seen better strategy guides. I have to say I did have to use the strategy guide a few times. Frankly, it was necessary. It was a hard game at times. The map was marvelous. The mini games were great and what I loved at times was that if for some reason you wanted to forsake the idea of having to do the HO scene, you had a cute extra mini game type picture domino you could do. I really loved it.

This was a good game. Lots to do. A little too much travelling around but the map helps point out where you must go. Games were pretty easy and HOS were quite easy. The story was a little strange but it was coherent. I was mesmerized by the overabundance of teeth in the characters' mouths! It was a decent length and wound up the story pretty well. The bonus game was brief but also well done.

I have a confession to make. I cheat a lot on Hidden Object games. I play them to try to strengthen my poor spacial and logic abilities. But sometimes I just need a little bit of help. One thing I really struggle with is maps (or the lack thereof) and remembering what's hidden in what room. For some reason, this game just seemed very logical to me. I didn't even look at the map until later in the game. The map highlights were you can perform an action which removed the need for a hint button for the most part. The story was good but the games were the best part. I loved being able to opt out of HO for the matching game instead. I do have ONE complaint though. The developers should have spent a bit more time and made the spoken dialogue match up with the characters mouths. It was outrageously off, to the point where I couldn't stop laughing. It was bad and it took away from the story. The rest of the game was so well made it seems like a huge oversight, But the actual game itself isn't affected and I highly recommend it to all those who enjoy hidden object and adventure games.
