If you love old-school 2d rpg games like Legend of Zelda, or modern versions like the Aveyond series, then this is for you. If you've never tried this type of game before, I strongly recommend you give it a try. You follow an engrossing story, with twists and turns in the plot which you don't expect, but which never seem unlikely. The characters grow on you until you come to really empathize with them. Some of them are what you'd expect in this type of game, others are quirky (talking chameleon anyone?). You travel through a vast world, with loads of places to explore, secrets to find, side quests to do. You get plenty of clues about where to go/what to do next, but if you get stuck there is an excellent walkthrough on the developer's site. And it's long!! 30 hours minimum, and huge replay value, not just because it's such a brilliant game, but because there's going to be something new that you missed first time round. You can select the level of difficulty you want at the beginning, though unlike some other Aldorlea games, you can't choose between visible and invisible enemies.
